My passion and drive for modern technology in combination with games go way back to when I was a child and got a “Mindflex Board Game” as a Christmas present. The sheer fascination of interacting with technology through my own brain was immeasurable. My name is Samuel, and I come from a small town in Bavaria located near Munich. I have always been fascinated by human-computer interaction, so I started learning computer science. When i found out, that i can create computer games on my own, i was overwhelmed. It felt like there are endless possibilities and freedom.
In 2019/20, I started studying B.Sc. Games Engineering at TUM. Unfortunately, the pandemic had a big influence on my life, and I got thrown off track. That’s when I decided to switch towns and study media informatics at the University of Regensburg. Over time, the tasks set by the university did not really utilize my desire to create content, and I started to lean more toward my passion for game development. Starting in 2018 and continuing today, I am working with the game engine Unity. The process of self-directed learning really kicked off in 2022, when I started to work as a freelancer. My fast-paced learning and constantly improving nature of coding standards lead to my outstanding knowledge covering nearly all kinds of fields in game development.
When I started working for the neurofeedback practice “brainboost” based in Munich, I was overwhelmed when I got to know that I could combine my enthusiasm for Unity, computer games, and neurofeedback with the idea of helping people improve their brain functionality. With the incredibly fast-paced content distribution of today's social media providers, I am strongly inclined to provide a beneficial opportunity to regain and maintain stable and healthy brain functionality for everyone. I would be grateful to contribute my acquired skills and expertise to help make a difference to people while also doing something I thoroughly enjoy.

Being the only Unity Developer in the Team, I had to learn many new things like database, multiplayer, integrating with various 3rd Party providers, creating User Interface and even peeking into the web3 space. During the development time, i learned a lot about time management and team productivity.
